A professional who performs variety of personal services for railroad patrons. Respnsibilities include:

• Carries hand baggage to station platform from seat.
• Makes berths.
• Supplies towels to washroom.
• Furnishes patrons with light lunches, drinks, card tables, or other articles they may request.
• When only one sleeping car is in train, may perform duties of pullman conductor.
