- Requisitions provisions and fuel.
- May participate in firefighting activities in dock area.
- May train crewmembers to rescue drowning victims, recover bodies, and prevent sinking of ships in distress.
- May be designated according to rank as Harbor-Police Captain; Harbor-Police Lieutenant.
