A professional who coordinates activities of fish and game wardens and other personnel within state or conservation district. Responsibilities include:
- Determines effectiveness of training administered by others, according to review of personnel records and supervisory evaluations.
- Coordinates special enforcement campaigns, such as rabies control activities and investigations into cause of excessive fish mortality.
- Assigns personnel to enforcement territories or to aid other divisions in seasonal conservation activities.
- Prepares public information materials, delivers speeches, and confers with representatives of sports groups to promote conservation activities.
- Answers correspondence concerning enforcement or other activities.
- Keeps records of hunting accidents, drownings, hunting law violations, and related data.
- Prepares budget for submission to state legislature.
