A race of people descended from humans with a touch of the divine. Aasimar's lives are chosen by deities, sometimes before they are even born, in order to perform specific tasks or to be a vessel for the deity's power on the material planes. They look almost entirely human in many cases. The big difference is that they will almost always have some kind of holy aura around them, ranging from just a light of innocence about them to halos of light. It's also much more common for the Aasimar to have odd eye colors and seemingly perfect features. It is also possible for the Aasimar to break apart entirely form their gods. Becoming independent, however, comes at a cost, as they loose their holy powers, gaining a twisted version of it, and might be branded as targets for others followers of the same god.
